# Cooking Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch (23x33 cm) baking dish lightly with butter or cooking spray.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble and brown sausage until cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. If desired, add chopped onion and diced bell pepper; sauté until softened, 3 to 4 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
03 - Evenly distribute bread cubes in the prepared dish, then layer cooked sausage and vegetables on top.
04 - In a large bowl, whisk eggs, whole milk, salt, black pepper, mustard powder, and paprika until combined.
05 - Stir 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar and all mozzarella cheese into the egg mixture.
06 - Pour egg and cheese mixture evenly over the bread and sausage. Press bread gently to ensure the liquid is absorbed.
07 - Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese over the assembled layers.
08 - Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes in preheated oven.
09 - Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
10 - Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
